There are many days throughout the year when it is especially meaningful to gather and remember our loved ones. Please check back often, or contact us to find a complete schedule of our special event days. These events are open to everyone, so if you know of someone who would take comfort in attending an event, please encourage them to visit.

2013 Events Calendary

Arborcare Bereavement Support Group Sessions
Our six week bereavement support group sessions are offered four times per year. This group has been established to provide an outlet for members of our community that may have shared similar experiences with bereavement and loss. Facilitated by Dr. Bill Webster.

These support group sessions are held four times per year in six week sessions: January 28 to March 4, May 22 to June 26, August 5 to September 9, and October 16 to November 13. Sessions are held at Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel, 289 Main Street North, Brampton, Ontario.

Beautification Day Service/Mother's Day Tribute, Sunday May 12, 10 am - 2 pm
Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery is hosting our Annual Beautification Day where families are encouraged to assist the staff with planting flowers in selected gardens in memory of your loved ones. A brief service will be held at 1 pm, a balloon release, and refreshments will be provided.

Our staff will be providing complimentary carnations at the front gate to place on your Mother's or loved ones memorial.

Father's Day Tribute, Sunday June 16, 10 am to 2 pm
Our staff will be providing complimentary carnations at the front gate to place on your Father's or loved ones memorial.



 

Pancake Brunch, Sunday September 8
It's Free – All Welcome! Come enjoy a brunch on us...with pancakes, pure maple syrup, fresh fruit 'n berries, coffee, tea & juice. There will be a draw for door prizes.

Remembrance Day, Monday,
November 11

Help honour our Veterans. If you have family or friends who were Veterans and are interred in our cemetery please call your representative at (905) 840-3400 so we may place a Canadian flag on their grave. There is no charge for the flag, it's our way of saying we remember.

Coping with the Holidays, November 20
Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel invites you to attend our annual Coping With The Holidays evening where Dr. Bill Webster will outline strategies and ideas for coping with the upcoming holiday season after someone you love has died.

Tree of Memories, December 3 to December 31
Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel invites you to visit us throughout the month of December with a non-perishable food item and to sign our Book of Memories. We as well invite you to bring and hang an ornament on our holiday tree in memory of your loved one.
